Poster competition

Be a WINNER! Enter this year’s poster competition and be in with a chance of winning an iPad.

Deadline for entries now extended to 11 May 2012

The poster competition is open to not-for-profit members of PraxisUnico and all registered attendees of the 2012 Conference.

Poster topics should focus on the theme of this year’s conference “Impact through innovation”, but members may submit in any area of work covered by PraxisUnico’s representation i.e. the translation, transfer and commercialisation of research. We would encourage any not-for-profit member who has offered an oral presentation which has not been included in a conference session to consider submitting a poster.

The poster session is intended to provide members the opportunity to present early ideas, views, findings, services, practice and information in any areas of their work which they believe will be of interest to other members. It is likely that poster subjects will be those that are still evolving through practice and on which the principal author believes it may be too early to present an oral paper, but on which (s)he would like feedback from PraxisUnico peers.

During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to select their favourite poster and the winner will be announced at the event.

PraxisUnico will not accept any poster submission aimed at indirectly advertising company or individual professional services to the sector. Authors of these will be encouraged to contact the conference organisers to discuss exhibition space.

Submission

Posters should be submitted on the Poster Abstract Submission Form and returned as an e-mail attachment to lisa.newman@praxisunico.org.uk by 12 noon on Friday 11 May 2012.

Principal authors will be advised if their submission has been selected as a poster presentation by Monday 21 May.

Poster size & display

Successful authors will be responsible for providing an A1 size poster expanding on their accepted abstract.

Mounting materials will be available at the conference.
