CLEANTECH INNOVATE - SPECIAL CASH AWARD OF €25K
UKIF member ecoConnect, Britain’s green industry business network, has launched, in partnership with the Instititution of Mechanical Engineers, a nation-wide “call for innovators” for a new showcase, “Cleantech Innovate”.
Supporters of “Cleantech Innovate” include: Smith & Williamson, The National Physical Laboratory, The British Library, Aspectus PR, Clean Energy Pipeline, The UK Innovation Forum (UKIF), Greenbang, iVeridis, Energy Live News, Narec Capital, 2 Degrees, MessageLab, The Centre for Sustainable Design and the Technology Strategy Board’s Environmental Sustainability Knowledge Transfer Network.

SHELL SPRINGBOARD - WIN UP TO £40K
UKIF member Shell Springboard, now in its eighth year, is on the lookout for the UK's next big low carbon idea, ready to award a financial boost of up to £40,000, 'no strings attached', to nine of the country's most innovative small green enterprises.
Since 2005, Shell has awarded over £2.25 million to 62 small businesses who have developed new ways of cutting carbon emissions and urges those small enterprises with a commercially viable, innovative idea to apply for the 2013 Shell Springboard Awards.
