Knowledge and technology transfer professionals need to understand the requirements specific to making software disclosures and taking software to market in order to support academics and students creating software applications.
This course will train delegates in handling disclosures across all fields in the sciences and humanities where a major component (or the whole invention) comprises software.
Suitable for: The course is suitable for knowledge exchange and commercialisation professionals working in higher education or other public sector research or NHS innovation environments. Delegates will have experience in technology transfer, but little practical experience of software commercialisation. The course is not intended for those with a degree in computer science or similar.
