The first PraxisAuril Directors' Forum will take place in Cambridge this spring.  Join us at the Møller Centre for a day of focused discussion and debate!

This event - for PraxisAuril members only - provides the opportunity to meet with peers and debate topical issues affecting the sector.

In a challenging and changing environment the event is an ideal opportunity to hear about new approaches to managing, evaluating and promoting research collaboration and enterprise activities. The Forum also provides a great opportunity to input into PraxisAuril advocacy activities, on behalf of the membership.

Please note that places for this event are limited, multiple registrations from a single institution may be restricted.

Directors may nominate a deputy to attend on their behalf.

Event format:

  • Drinks reception, evening dinner and keynote lecture, followed by a full day of talks and networking

Attendees:

  • PraxisAuril members: Heads of Office (or a nominated deputy)
  • Key sector stakeholders (by invitation only)

Venue:

The Møller Centre is a world-class, dedicated residential leadership development and conference centre at Churchill College, in the University of Cambridge. Inspiration for the centre came from the connection between two great leaders, Sir Winston Churchill, and Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller, whose vision and benefaction has created a unique ‘Centre for Excellence’.

Accommodation:

PraxisAuril has secured a limited number of bedrooms for delegates at the Møller Centre (£130 + VAT, including breakfast).  This rate was guaranteed until 23 February, please contact the Møller Centre by calling 01223 465500 (quoting reference KX34751) to check availability.

Travel:

By Car – there is free on-site parking for over 150 cars at the Møller Centre. Please note when entering Storey’s Way from Huntingdon Road (A1307), there are width restrictions. Alternatively approach Storey’s Way from the Madingley Road entrance.

Train – there is a fast and frequent rail service from London King’s Cross (45 minutes) & London Liverpool Street (1 hour 15 mins) and Stansted Airport (30 minutes) through to Cambridge. There are excellent connections from Scotland & the North via Peterborough, as well as services from Birmingham & the Midlands, East Anglia & the North West. Cambridge train station is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the Møller Centre. Cambridge North train station is also about 20 minutes drive away from the Centre.
